KEC International, an infrastructure company belonging to RPG group, has secured orders worth Rs 1,200 crore in its business of Power Transmission, Power Systems, Cables and railways, according to a company filing with the stock exchanges.
About Rs 590 crore of this is from two projects involving the building of transmission lines and substations in Afghanisthan. The company’s share was at Rs 61.90 this morning. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 19 crore on a turnover of Rs 2,180 crore in the quarter ended December 2013.
