A consortium headed by Kellton Tech has bagged the Rs 27.5-crore mSwasthya project in Uttar Pradesh for developing a mobile healthcare platform to help reduce maternal and infant mortality rates.
Kellton Tech, along with CMS Computers and CMS Computers and IntraHealth, will develop the application that would help health workers in collecting data of mothers and infants real time. “The three-year project will be implemented in five districts of Mirzapur, Faizabad, Sitapur, Bareilly and Kannauj in Uttar Pradesh,” Karanjit Singh, Chief Executive Officer of Kellton Tech, has said here in a press release on Thursday.
The project would be expanded to the remaining 70 districts of the State later. The enterprise mobile app would be hosted on, facilitating remote access and enrolment through 3G-enabled mobile devices from across the region.
“The solution will be optimised for low bandwidth and intermittent connectivity. The acquired social data will be a good repository for analysis,” he said.
