IDBI Trusteeship Services has invoked and transferred 7.31 per cent of pledged shares in Kingfisher Airlines to the depository account of lenders. A notification to the Bombay Stock Exchange said IDBI Trusteeship notified the transaction to the exchange on June 12. The Vijay Mallya-owned airline owes about ₹6,500 crore to a consortium of banks led by State Bank of India. The airline’s stock was trading at ₹3.45, down 2.82 per cent at the close of trade on Wednesday.
