Kirtilals has come up with a 'virtual retail experience' concept.
With the introduction of this concept, customers visiting the showroom would be able visualise how a jewel – be it a necklace, bracelet, bangle, ear-ring or hip-chain would look on the individual when adorned. “The chosen jewel can be from the catalogue collection or one designed by the customer,” Suraj Shantakumar, Director – Business Strategy, Kirtilals said.
The jewellery store has used technology to trigger and enhance customer buying experience. The iPad application would enable the buyer to explore and browse the designs available at Kirtilals databank, he said, adding, ''It is a bank of 5 lakh designs of all categories – both traditional and classical, but pertains only to diamond collections.”
Exclusive ‘Kirtilals Lounge’ has been created, not just in Coimbatore but at its showrooms in Hyderabad, Kochi and Bangalore.
The company has used this technology and completed 2 – 3 bridal orders, he said
