Professional services group KNAV — which has special focus on advising Indian-owned multinationals — has now become part of US-headquartered Allinial Global, a renowned member-based association of accounting and consulting firms.
With this move, all the firms now part of the KNAV Group has become member firms of Allinial Group, Monish Gaurav Chatrath, Managing Partner, MGC & KNAV Global Risk Advisory Services and Global Markets Leader at KNAV told BusinessLine here.
Post this association, the three focus areas for KNAV in India will be risk and business advisory services, cross-border services and the ‘Service from India’ (through a new centre of excellence set up out of India), Chatrath said.
“We will now have access to wider outreach in terms of experts, partners, locations, infrastructure, training and practice management,” Chatrath said, adding that KNAV now aspires to become the leading firm that services the Indo-US corridor.
From being 15 partners and 500 staff members, KNAV — founded in 1999 and serving clients in ten locations around the globe — will now have access to about 2,000 partners and 14,000 staff of the Allinial Global.
“We now have strong connectivity on a global basis,” Chatrath said.
Terry Snyder, President & CEO, Allinial Global, said that KNAV was an agile, flexible and client centric international organisation that blends well with the culture and outlook of Allinial Global.
“We are delighted to induct all firms within KNAV International as members of Allinial Global.
“We are committed to provide them with the support and tools they need to better serve their clients across the globe and in India, which is a market of strategic importance to our organisation”, said Snyder, who was visiting New Delhi on Thursday.
