KNR Constructions Ltd has registered a lower net profit of Rs 8.41 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2013 against Rs 10.65 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The Hyderabad-based construction company, however, logged increase in income of Rs 165.33 crore during the quarter under review against Rs 155.77 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The company had closed with a net profit of Rs 52.12 crore and income of Rs 762.45 crore during the last fiscal ended March 31, 2013.
The company shares ended down 1.33 per cent at Rs 74 on the BSE.
