KNR Constructions Limited has posted a lower net profit of Rs 12.52 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2012 as against Rs 16.77 crore for the corresponding period last year.

The Hyderabad-based construction and infrastructure segment player, which has its registered office in Delhi, also posted lower revenues of Rs 164.99 crore for the December 2012 quarter as against Rs 189.04 crore for the same period last year.

The company recorded an EPS of Rs 4.45 for the quarter as against Rs 5.96 same period last year. The KNR board, which took on record the financials today, informed the exchange.

For the nine months ended December 31, 2012, the company logged a net profit of Rs 34.47 crore and income of Rs 462.18 crore as against a net profit of Rs 48.27 crore and income of Rs 589.02 crore for the corresponding three quarters last financial year.
