Larsen & Toubro (L&T) today said its construction arm has won orders worth Rs 1,247 crore across business verticals.
“The construction arm of L&T has won orders worth Rs 1,247 crore in the buildings and factories and power transmission and distribution businesses,” the engineering and construction major said in a BSE filing.
L&T added that while its buildings and factories vertical has won an order worth Rs 989 crore for the construction of IT park in Bengaluru, its power transmission and distribution businesses has bagged an international order worth Rs 258 crore from Oman Electricity Transmission company for the construction of new 132 kV grid stations.
Shares of the company were trading at Rs 1,194.75 apiece, up 1.7 per cent from the previous close on the BSE.
