L&T has obtained orders worth Rs 1,120 crore in the construction segment.
In power transmission and distribution it has secured orders worth Rs 548 crore from Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority, UAE. This is for the construction of 220 kV overhead lines, switching stations and related electrical work.
L&T Oman has also secured an order worth Rs 156 crore for building an electrical substation and associated work.
The building and factories division has got orders totalling Rs 416 crore. The orders are for construction of factories, besides contracts for additional work in ongoing projects.
