Engineering giant Larsen & Toubro announced on Tuesday that it has won fresh orders worth Rs 1,960 crore.
The water and effluent treatment vertical has secured orders worth Rs 1,053 crore from the Water Resources Department, Odisha Government, for the engineering, procurement and construction of 34 lift irrigation schemes across the State, which will irrigate 48,600 hectares of cultivable lands.
The heavy civil infrastructure business has secured orders worth Rs 889 crore from Chennai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd for the construction of Chennai Metro line Package 03.
