L&T has secured orders worth Rs 2,002 crore across various business segments in May and June.
The building and factories segment bagged orders worth Rs 528 crore for the construction of office buildings in Bangalore and Ahmedabad. In the water and renewable energy business, L&T has orders worth Rs 806 crore, of which Rs 700 crore is an engineering procurement and construction contract for a solar power plant in Tamil Nadu.
Delhi rail project
In the transportation infrastructure business, the company bagged orders worth Rs 451 crore. These are from Phase 3 of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) project.
In the power transmission and distribution business, the company got orders worth Rs 217 crore. These orders are from DMRC and the West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company.
