L&T bags orders worth Rs 2,035 cr

L&T Construction has secured orders totally valued at Rs 2,035 crore across various business segments this month.

The company’s buildings and factories business has bagged new orders from Hyderabad and Mumbai for the construction of office spaces, including add-ons, it said in a statement to the BSE.

In Hyderabad, the order is from a global IT solutions provider for the construction of an office building. The second is from a private developer in Mumbai for building an office complex in Mumbai.

The transportation infrastructure business has won an order from an infrastructure developer for the construction of 109.54 km of a four-lane dual carriageway of Solapur (in Maharashtra) to Bijapur in Karnataka, on an EPC basis.

The scope of this order involves building of 43.23 km of service road, two railway over bridges, six fly-overs, 49 minor bridges and 29 underpasses.

Additional orders from on-going jobs have also been received.
