L&T Construction has won orders worth Rs 2,935 crore across business segments in February and March.
In the transportation infrastructure business, it has secured orders worth Rs 1,035 crore.
A major EPC order is from Rail Vikas Nigam for doubling of Sambalpur-Titlagarh section of the East Coast Railway in Odisha.
In the building and factories segment, L&T got orders worth Rs 562 crore. A major turnkey order is from the Lucknow Development Authority for construction of 11 towers, comprising 1,672 apartments, in Lucknow.
In water and renewable energy business, the company has secured orders worth Rs 553 crore. An order for a riverfront development project in Patna is from the Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation. The project is funded by the World Bank.
The power transmission and distribution business, L&T has secured orders worth Rs 502 crore from the domestic and international markets. A turnkey order from Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd is for system improvement, strengthening and augmentation of power distribution system in Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh.
An international order is from the Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation for construction of a 132 KV substation at Doha.
In addition, the company has also received orders from various on-going projects.
L&T shares were trading up 3.54 per cent at Rs 1,239 on the BSE at 1.40 pm.
