L&T Construction has secured new orders valued at Rs 2,130 crore across various business segments in September 2012.
Larsen & Toubro is a $12.8-billion technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services conglomerate.
The Buildings and Factories IC of L&T Construction has bagged new orders worth Rs 1,650 crore. A major order has been received for the construction of multi-storeyed residential towers in Mumbai from a leading developer.
New orders have also been secured for the design and construction of a hospital building and additional works from ongoing projects across India.
L&T Construction has also secured additional orders aggregating Rs 480 crore from various ongoing projects in the infrastructure IC and other business units.
Larsen & Toubro ended the session higher by 0.03 per cent at Rs 1,596.75 on the BSE today.
