L&T Construction has won orders worth Rs 2,101 crore across various business segments in March 2015.
In the heavy civil infrastructure business, it has secured orders worth Rs 1,664 crore, including additional orders in existing projects.
A major order is from the Public Works Department, Delhi, for the construction of Phase-III of Barapullah Elevated Corridor in Delhi.
The project connects Sarai Kale Khan and Mayur Vihar through the elevated corridor across the river Yamuna. The scope of work includes construction of 550 m, six-lane extra bridge and 4.3 km of a four-lane elevated road, besides a flyover on the Mayur Vihar side.
The project is scheduled to be completed in 30 months. L&T said.
The Barapullah corridor is expected to have about 1.5 lakh vehicles using it by 2020, L&T said.
In the water and renewable energy business, the company has secured an order worth Rs 267 crore.
An order is from the Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam for the construction of 242 km waste water network and three waste water pumping stations in Allahabad. The project is funded by World Bank under NGRBA (National Ganga River Basin Authority) scheme.
Additional orders worth Rs 170 crore have also been received from various ongoing jobs of the buildings and factories division.
