Larsen & Toubro’s subsidiary L&T Oman has secured two orders worth Rs 875 crore.
The orders are from the Muscat Municipality and from the Ministry of Transport & Communication, Sultanate of Oman for construction of the Wadikabir-Darsait Road and the MahlahGhubbrat Al Tam-Ismaiyah Road.
The Wadikabir-Darsait Road project is scheduled to be completed in 24 months and involves design and construction of flyovers and underpasses.
The Mahlah-Ghubbat Al Tam-Ismaiyah project slated for completion in 41 months involves 45 km of road work, four bridges and cross-drainage works.
L&T said its track record in the urban infrastrucure sector in GCC includes the Al Sowah cable stayed bridge and the Sheikh Khalifa Interchange. Earlier, L&T built the Al Khaud Interchange in Muscat.
