Lanco infratech Ltd has posted a loss of Rs 135.9 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2012, against a loss of Rs 259.5 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
The company’s revenue for the quarter was, however, up by 68 per cent at Rs 3,184.8 crore as against Rs 1,896.3 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
Profits have been impacted by margin pressure from high interest costs, delay in securing receivables, fuel supply concerns for power plants and delays in securing clearances for projects.
