Lanco Kondapalli Power Ltd, a subsidiary of the power and infrastructure company Lanco Infratech Ltd, has won awards in the domain of Safety and Environment Management.
The gas plant at Kondapalli in Andhra Pradesh won the Golden Peacock Award for its environment, health and safety management.
The Golden Peacock Awards is instituted by the World Environment Foundation.
It also won Greentech Safety Award in the golden category for recognition of the plant’s priority to workplace health and safety philosophy.
Lanco Tanjore Power Company Ltd bagged the Silver award in power sector by Greentech Foundation for safety management.
