Laurus Labs net profit increased 39 per cent at ₹74.3 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2017, against ₹53.4 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The total revenue, however, decreased to ₹466 crore (₹483 crore). For the financial year 2016-17, its net profit increased 40 per cent at ₹202 crore (₹148 crore) on a revenue of ₹1,892 crore (₹1,774 crore).
The board recommended a final dividend of ₹1.50 per share. Satyanarayana Chava, CEO, said the company’s growth “will continue’’ with broadening of the market in key APIs.
