LimeRoad, an online shopping site for women, will expand its operations to the US and UK by June-July. It also plans to expand its operations in 23 countries in the coming months.
“We will first expand our operations in the developed markets of the US and the UK as the markets there offer very promising opportunities to us,” LimeRoad Founder and CEO Suchi Mukherjee told PTI.
The company will launch its operation in 23 countries, including the US and UK, in the coming months to tap the growing market of online women buyers, she added.
On investment, Mukherjee said: “We are on the look-out for funds, but are not in a hurry. We are weighing our options and will seek such offers based on these issues.”
In October last year, Matrix Partners India and Lightspeed Venture Partners led a $5-million funding in A M Marketplaces Pvt Ltd, the parent company of LimeRoad.com.
