Mumbai-based Lodha Group has bought its second property in London for about £90 million (about ₹930 crore) from West End of London Property Unit Trust.
The property, New Court, is on Carey Street next to the London School of Economics and the Royal Courts of Justice. The total land area is 1.15 acres with a saleable area of about two lakh sft.
Last November, the Group had bought the seven-storey Macdonald House in central London for ₹3,000 crore.
In January, Abhinandan Lodha, Deputy Managing Director of the Group, told Business Line that Mumbai and London would be an important part of his business going forward and that the company intends to complete its projects taken up in Hyderabad by 2016.
