Beauty company L’Oréal India has appointed Jean-Christophe Letellier as its new Managing Director. Letellier will succeed Pierre-Yves Arzel, who has been elevated to head the South Asia Pacific region. Letellier, a long-time employee of the Paris-based company, was heading the consumer products division of the Indian operations since last 18 months. He has handled several important roles as Marketing Director of Garnier and Maybelline in Europe. In a statement, Jean-Christophe Letellier said: “India has immense potential and I hope to play a key role in achieving L’Oréal’s objective of reaching one billion new consumers.”
Dhanya Thakkar joins Trend Micro
Trend Micro Inc has appointed Dhanya Thakkar as Managing Director, Trend Micro for India & SAARC. Thakkar joined Trend Micro, as a result of acquisition of IndusGuard, which he co-founded and served as President. He has worked with various start-ups and global public companies. He was earlier working with Third Brigade, a leading provider of server and cloud security software where he led the Business Development and Security Centre as the Vice-President.
Cogito ropes in Mahuya Chaturvedi
Cogito Consulting, part of the Draftfcb Ulka Group, has roped in Mahuya Chaturvedi as its managing partner. Chaturvedi was with the Aditya Birla Group and handled brand and communication for the fashion fibre and consumer products Kara. Chaturvedi will report to MG Parameswaran, Executive Director and CEO, Mumbai, Draftfcb Ulka.
