The Buildings & Factories business of L&T Construction has bagged orders worth Rs 4,033 crore in the domestic market. Among the orders it has won is an order for construction of residential towers under The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme in Andhra Pradesh.
According to the company's regulatory filing, the 1,125 numbers of residential towers of G+3 floors will be built in Visakhapatnam, Prakasam, Guntur and Krishna districts within stringent timelines.
The business has also secured an order from a leading cement manufacturer for the construction of cement plants in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh and an order from a government body to establish a cancer institute along with the supply, installation and commissioning of medical equipment in Patna, the company said.
L&T Construction's Buildings & Factories business undertakes Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) orders for all types of structures, including residential buildings, airports, hospitals and hotels, IT parks and office spaces, among others.
