Former ISRO chairman, Mr G Madhavan Nair has been removed from the Board of public sector Bharat Electronics Ltd.
The company has informed exchanges that Mr Nair, who is an independent director, has been removed as director by the Union Government. The decision to this effect was taken at the company’s Board meeting held on Thursday.
The company also informed the exchanges that the Board has recommended a final dividend of 108 per cent (Rs 10.80 an equity share of Rs 10 each) in addition to the interim dividend of 100 per cent (Rs 10 an equity share of Rs 10 each) paid in February.
