Three infrastructure companies posted mixed results on Monday for the quarter ended March 31.
While Madhucon Projects and Gayatri Projects reported profits, Ramky Infrastructure saw loss in the fourth quarter.
Madhucon’s net profit stood at ₹16.20 crore, down from ₹18.70 crore a year ago.
The company’s total income from operations for the quarter was ₹300.94 crore against ₹348.88 crore in the year-earlier period.
For the financial year ended March 31, posted a loss of ₹3.54 crore on a turnover of ₹2,038.05 crore.
Order book In the previous fiscal, it had reported a loss of ₹219.77 crore and a turnover of ₹1,618.05 crore. The company has an order book of ₹6,063 crore of EPC contracts in highways, irrigation and mining sectors.
The Board has recommended a dividend of ₹10 paise per equity share of ₹1 each (10 per cent) for 2014-15.
Gayatri Projects Gayatri Projects has posted a net profit of ₹15.95 crore for the fourth quarter against a profit of ₹16.02 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
The company’s total income was up at ₹560 crore against ₹498.50 crore.
For the financial year, the company reported a loss of ₹31.69 crore and total income of ₹1500.76 core.
In the previous fiscal, it had reported a loss of ₹64.96 crore and income of ₹1594.91 crore. The Board has recommended a dividend of ₹1 per equity share of ₹10 at 10 per cent.
Ramky Infra Ramky Infrastructure has posted a loss of ₹51.11 crore for the March quarter compared with a loss of ₹175.37 crore a year earlier on a consolidated basis.
The Hyderabad-based infrastructure company reported a total income of ₹495.32 crore for the forth quarter against ₹595.79 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
The company closed last fiscal with a loss of ₹482.96 crore and total income of ₹1,644.12 crore.
In the previous financial year, it had reported a loss of ₹414.85 crore and total income of ₹2401.70 crore.
