Madhucon Projects Ltd posted a net profit of Rs 8.93 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2013, as against Rs 4.95 crore registered for the corresponding period last financial year.
The company revenue, however, dipped significantly for the second quarter to Rs 229.85 crore as against Rs 318.80 crore for the same period last year.
The Hyderabad-based construction and infrastructure company had closed last financial year ended March 31, 2013 with a net profit of Rs 33.76 crore on a total income of Rs 1,044.97 crore.
Madhucon shares closed the day at Rs 8.85, down 1.34 per cent on the BSE.
