Madhucon Projects Ltd. has registered a significant drop in its net profit at Rs 7.96 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2011 as against Rs 13.45 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
In a statement to the stock exchanges, the company said, the sales income for the first quarter ended June 30, 2011 was also lower at Rs 329.22 crore as against Rs 407.40 crore it logged for the corresponding quarter last year.
In the last financial year ended March 31, Madhucon closed with sales income of Rs 1,704.55 crore and net profit of Rs 50.98 crore.
