Infrastructure development company Madhucon Projects Ltd posted a 5.7 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 11.50 crore for the quarter ended December 3, 20101 compared with Rs 10.88 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.
Its turnover during the quarter touched Rs 352.11 crore against Rs 280.26 crore in the year-ago period. The company is having five BOT toll and annuity projects, while its subsidiary, Simhapuri Energy Ltd is setting up a 1,920-MW power project in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh. It has an order book of Rs 4,500 crore.
