Madhucon Projects Ltd is set to reconstitute the company board after the recent decision of its Director-Finance to step aside after completion of his tenure last month. The infrastructure company has informed the BSE that the board of directors accepted the request of S. Vaikuntanathan, Director-Finance and whole-time Director, to step down, at its meeting on April 10. When contacted, he said the work load was getting too hectic to handle. However, he will continue to work in the company overseeing the infrastructure business. Madhucon has road and power projects at various stages of implementation, and a coal mine-cum-power plant project under implementation abroad.
