Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has unveiled the name of its new compact Sports Utility Vehicle, which has inspired by a battle tank. The SUV has been named Mahindra TUV300 (pronounced as TUV, 3 double ‘Oh’).
"In our ongoing automotive journey, we identified a need for a tough, bold and masculine SUV and our customer clinics have confirmed that the TUV300 delivers on these parameters," said Pawan Goenka, Executive Director, M&M.
"The vehicle will be manufactured at M&M’s manufacturing facility at MVML, Chakan in Maharashtra," said Pravin Shah, President and Chief Executive, (Automotive) at M&M.
The Mahindra TUV300 will be powered by the advanced mHawK engine, he added.
