Mahindra Conveyor Systems has launched a new facility to make material handling equipment and systems at Ambadwet near Pune with an investment of Rs 25 crore.
The company, a joint venture between majority stake holder Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) and Tsubakimoto Bulk Systems Corp., Japan, caters to segments such as auto, auto ancillary and cement industry.
Mr Zhooben Bhiwandiwala, Executive Vice-President & Managing Partner – Mahindra Partners Division, M&M said, “Our new Ambadwet facility incorporates the latest facilities for fabrication of conveyor systems and components. It also has a waste and effluent treatment plant to treat and recycle waste generated during the manufacturing process.”
