Mahindra First Choice — the multi-brand used car seller — aims to grow its business by 32 per cent by selling 45,000 cars this year.
The company sold 34,000 used cars in 2011-12 — registering a growth of about 25 per cent compared to 2010-11, said Mr Yatendra Chadha, Vice-President – Operations and Network, Mahindra First Choice.
“Even while the new car sale is growing by about 3-4 per cent, the used car segment is growing by 10 per cent and the organised market is growing by over 17 per cent. We are hopeful of growing our business by over 30 per cent this year,” Mr Chadha said at a press meet here on Friday to announce the company’s expansion plans.
