Mahindra First Choice Wheels, a part of the $11.1-billion Mahindra Group, inaugurated its first 2S Superstore here today.
The outlet, spread across 27,000 square feet in Nerkundram, also has an integrated sales and service facility.
The showroom was inaugurated by the Mahindra Group Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, Mr Anand Mahindra.
“I am delighted to inaugurate the first Mahindra First Choice 2S Superstore in Chennai, a city which boasts of a rich tradition,” he said.
The pre-owned car market in Chennai is growing at a rapid rate with sales of 5,500 cars per month and Mahindra First Choice aims to sell over 10,000 cars this year, he said in a statement.
The company now has 134 outlets in 82 towns and plans to expand to 300 outlets in the next three years.
