Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) unveiled its indigenously designed and developed sports utility vehicle (SUV) XUV 500 here today.
The vehicle’s ex-showroom price is Rs 11.83 lakh.
M&M’s monthly production capacity of XUV 500 has jumped to 4,000 vehicles, and hence the company is now extending its launch across the country, M&M’s Senior Manager (Marketing), Mr Ashish Malik told reporters.
So far, the company has launched the vehicle in 19 cities, and plans to do so in Patna and Jaipur, he said.
All India booking for the vehicle would begin from June 8 through its 100 dealers.
