Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) will launch its much-awaited diesel hatchback ‘Verito Vibe’, on June 5 in Mumbai.
The Vibe would be a sub-4 metre version of M&M’s flagship sedan Verito and will be positioned against Maruti Suzuki Swift, Ford Figo and Nissan Micra among others.
“The Verito Vibe marks our entry into the high volume sub-4 metre segment. We are confident that this product will be successful in delighting our customers with its young and sporty looks, without compromising the benefits that our existing Verito has to offer,” Pravin Shah, Chief Executive (Automotive Division) at M&M said.
The vehicle has designed and developed entirely in-house and would sport the 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine.
