Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) today reported a 13 per cent increase in its total sales of tractors to 23,119 units in November.
The company had sold 20,476 units in the same month last year, M&M said in a statement.
Domestic tractor sales were up 13 per cent at 22,343 units during the month against 19,757 units a year ago.
Exports during November increased by 8 per cent to 776 units (719 units).
Commenting on the sales, M&M Chief Executive (Tractor and Farm Mechanisation) Rajesh Jejurikar said: “Following the festive season, we are happy to keep up our sales momentum with a growth of 13 per cent in November 2013.”
“On the back of a good monsoon, we expect the robust demand for tractors to continue during the remaining months of this financial year,” he added.
