Manjushree Technopack Ltd has reported a 27.87 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 9.13 crore for the first quarter of 2013-14 compared with Rs 7.14 crore in the same period last year.
The company’s income from operations was higher by 31.40 per cent at Rs 122.15 crore compared with Rs 92.96 crore in the same quarter last year. EPS of the company stood at Rs 6.74 (Rs 5.27).
Commenting on the company’s Q1 performance, Vimal Kedia, Managing Director, Manjushree Technopack, said as part of our growth strategy, in recent months we have made significant inroads into the dairy and edible oil industry. We have also seen increasing demand and need for PET packaging in the pharma and personal care segment.”
