Auto components manufacturer Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd (MSSL) on Tuesday reported consolidated net profit of ₹254 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2014, marginally up (1.6 per cent) against ₹250 crore in the same period previous year, the company said.
Net sales also grew by 13 per cent to ₹8,949 crore (₹7,889 crore). “The strong revenue growth, improved operational performance coupled with prudent financial management has resulted in the company consistently outperforming the market,” said VC Sehgal, Chairman. Shares of MSSL closed at ₹461.20 on the BSE on Tuesday, up 5.41 per cent.
