Marriott Hotels India Pvt Ltd is exiting the operating contract for its Courtyard by Marriott city centre hotel in Pune with effect from June 10, 2016.
A statement said that Marriott Hotels India and Neo Capricorn Plaza Pvt Ltd, the owner of the property near Pune’s Jehangir Hospital, have mutually agreed to terminate the operating contract for the Courtyard By Marriott Pune City Centre hotel.
The hotel has been operated by Marriott since July 2011.
Marriott Hotels and Neo Capricorn would like to assure their customers and Marriott Rewards members that the transition will be smooth and seamless with all commitments, in terms of bookings until the last day of operation, being honoured.
Neo Capricorn is also committed to ensuring that all assurances made to employees and any other associated parties will be honoured until the last day of operation.
According to the statement, the two companies have amicably decided to part ways and the decision has no bearing on existing or future business ventures between Neo Capricorn and Marriott Hotels.
Marriott currently operates 14 Courtyard by Marriott properties across India, including three in Pune.
