Mazda Ltd on Wednesday inaugurated its new factory at GIDC, Naroda, Ahmedabad. Production from the fourth unit will commence from April 1 that will add 15 to 20 per cent to its total capacity. Mazda specialised in the supply of equipments to various industries such as power, fertilisers, chemicals and bulk drugs industries. It also caters to the requirements of refineries, sugar and food industries. It has a strategic alliance with Croll-Reynolds Inc of the US, which is a major shareholder in Mazda.
