McNally Bharat Engineering Co Ltd will be responsible for operations and maintenance for petroleum coke handling system for Guru Govind Singh Refinery at Bhatinda in Punjab.
“The O&M contract is for four years for a consideration of Rs 23.41 crore," Mr Prabir Ghosh, whole-time director and group CFO, told Business Line on Monday.
In the previous fiscal, MBCEL had been awarded the O&M contract for a year for the pet coke handling unit, set up By Mittal Energy Ltd.
MBCEL also got another O&M contract of Rs 8. 36 crore from Durgapur Projects Ltd. Mr Ghosh said the present order book position of the BM Khaitan Group’s engineering company stood at Rs 4,210 crore. “This figure, however, included declared L1 status for bids worth Rs 485 crore," he explained.
