Luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz on Wednesday launched its new SUV 'GLE' for the Indian market with two variants — GLE 250 d at Rs 58.9 lakh and GLE 350 d at Rs 69.9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The GLE is basically the new nomenclature for its M Class which was launched in India in 2012, Roland S Folger, MD and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, said.
The SUV, which will be locally manufactured, comes with features such as 9G-TRONIC Transmission, five dynamic driving modes, airmatic suspension, safety features, plush interiors, LED Intelligent Light System and an intuitive touch-pad for commands on its online system.
