Mercedes-Benz will showcase the GLC, a new generation SUV built on the C-Class platform, during the forthcoming Delhi Auto Expo. The vehicle that was premiered globally in the middle of last year is slated to be introduced in the Indian market later this year.
While the GLC remains the highlight as it will help fill a gap in the German luxury car maker’s SUV portfolio in India, the other products on display will include the India-bound S-Class Cabriolet (convertible) and the Mercedes-Maybach S 600 Guard.
For racing enthusiasts, Mercedes-Benz will display in its pavilion the special Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team’s FIA World Championship title winning car.
In a statement, Roland Folger, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, said, “The Auto Expo is the much awaited platform for manufacturers, automotive enthusiasts and customers and it has been growing in importance with each edition. This year Mercedes-Benz will showcase its range of ‘winning’ products and we are excited to unveil the much awaited GLC and the S-Class Cabriolet.”
