Three months into the debut of the new Mercedes C 220 CDI sedan in India, Mercedes-Benz India has rolled-out the car from its state-of-art manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune.
Eberhard Kern, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said, “We are glad to commence the local production of the C 220 CDI and are confident that we will be able to cater to the increasing demand of this world winner for our customers.”
Additionally the company has launched the ‘Corporate Star Lease’ product, a dedicated leasing solution from Mercedes Financial Services.
With the local production of the new C 220 CDI and in tune with its ‘Make in India’ commitment, Mercedes-Benz India has now an increased localization content of 60% in this car.
The new C 220 CDI Style is priced at Rs. 37.90 lakhs and the C 220 CDI Avantgarde is priced at Rs. 39.90 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
