Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI), has achieved an all time high sales turnover of Rs 570 crores for the fiscal 2012-13. It had set a target of Rs 540 crores.

According to the provisional results announced by the Chairman and Managing Director, M. Narayana Rao today, the overall performance during the year would enable the company to achieve "Excellent" rating. It would also pay dividend to the Government for the tenth successive year.

The Hyderabad-based defence public sector undertaking manufactures critical materials, to support programmes of national importance in strategic sectors including space, defence, aeronautics, atomic energy and general engineering industries.

The advanced aerospace technologies have also been employed as a spin off to develop and manufacture a wide range of low cost titanium bio-medical implants, he said.
