On the occasion of World Environment Day, Mother Dairy has launched environment-friendly vans named ‘Kamdhenu’ that will carry homogenised toned milk in loose form to the remotest areas in Delhi NCR.
Speaking on the launch, Mr Amitava Mukherjee, Business Head, Milk Division, Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt Ltd, said: “With the Kamdhenu vans, Mother Dairy aims to help save 2,100 tonnes of plastic every year from entering into the environment.’’
The Kamdhenu vans, which will be CNG vans, will dispense milk in any volume fraction.
