Auto components maker Motherson Sumi System s (MSSL) on Wednesday reported a consolidated net profit of ₹426 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, a decline of 10 per cent compared with ₹472 crore in the corresponding period last year.
However, revenues from the company’s operations rose by 11 per cent year-on-year (YoY) for the July-September quarter to ₹ 15,104 crore during the period as against ₹13,338 crore in the same period last year.
During the quarter (in August), the company completed the acquisition of interior components and modules manufacturer Reydel Automotive Group (Reydel) for $201 million (around ₹1,300 crore), MSSL said.
