On-line retailer of fashion and lifestyle products, Myntra.com, is expanding its supply chain infrastructure and adding new value-added services to expand its customer base.

“To expand our customer base, we are planning to introduce on-line fashion consultancy to guide customers on selection of products, while improving on last-mile delivery through credit card payment,” Mr Mukesh Bansal, Founder and CEO, of the company told media persons here on Wednesday.

Myntra retails clothes, footwear and accessories from over 200 leading brands. It currently has two warehouses in Delhi and Bangalore, but plans to set up similar facilities in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai.

Currently, online retail accounts for about 4 to 6 per cent of the $50-billion fashion and lifestyle market in India, which is expected to double by 2015.

Myntra, which had done two TV campaigns last year, will launch a third one in the next two to three months. Digital marketing will get sharper focus in its marketing spend this year.
