Ravi Kailas, Chairman and CEO, Mytrah Energy, was named the ‘Wind Power Person of the year 2015’ at the 3rd World Renewable Energy Conference in New Delhi today.
The award was conferred on him by the Renewable Energy Expert Committee headed by Dr Praveen Saxena, Former Advisor, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy.
Ravi Kailas in a statement said, “Today’s accolade is a reflection of Mytrah’s position as one of the pioneers in the Indian renewable IPP industry and for having created an operational portfolio of 543MW within four years. In an environment of ever increasing demand for power in India, developing, owning and operating a diversified portfolio of wind assets puts Mytrah in a strong position for profitable and sustained growth, and I accept this award today on behalf of all the team at Mytrah.”
Based in Hyderabad, Mytrah Energy is listed on the AIM segment of the London Stock Exchange.
