Nagarjuna Agrichem, part of the Nagarjuna Group, reported a net profit of Rs 2.09 crore for the quarter ended December 31, up from a net loss of Rs 5.51 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.
During the quarter, its income rose by 6.81 per cent to touch Rs. 160 crore.
The company recently entered the Myanmar market by launching four of its brands. “Three more brands are ready for launch there. We are also making a foray into the African market shortly,” a company release said.
In the domestic market, it launched a new rice herbicide, imported from Nissan Chemical of Japan.
